Fortnite Season 6
Fortnite is undeniably one of the hottest games now. Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, did not disappoint with launching the sixth season of Fortnite. What are the major changes to expect, new places to explore and upgraded features to play in Fortnite Season 6? Your friends here at GamingXP explored it all for you.
The Floating Island
In the previous Fortnite, the Floating Island is stationed over at the Loot Lake, in the centre of the map. The Floating Island in Fortnite Season 6 now hovers a hundred meters above the ground. It can now be reached by jumping into an uplifting vortex underneath the island. It is unbelievable how enormous it is, and you can take your time exploring the area before you get to engage in a gunfight.
The Floating Island is the highest point on the map and is the perfect place to get escape from the gunfight. Since the Floating Island gradually moves, you can have a bird’s eye view of where the other players are. It did elevate the gaming experience and is the key upgrade for Fortnite Season 6.
The Bunker Complex
In the last few seasons of Fortnite, there is a hidden bunker entrance found in the Wailing Woods. Some players were able to figure out how to enter, as it is one of the island’s most complex mysteries until now.
To enter the bunker, you must dig through the building’s base. The bunker still looks like from the previous season: metal corridors and an abandoned facility in the middle of woods just near the Dusty Depot. In Fortnite Season 6, the bunker complex is more exciting than ever before. What does the hidden bunker contain? That’s an exciting secret that you should personally experience.
When it comes to the combat arsenal, there’s not much added in Fortnite Season 6. On the contrary, some key items were removed and nerfed. When one of our GamingXP team members played Fortnite Season 6, the double shotgun now does lesser damage, deducting 40 health points from a body shot.
The double shotgun is now behind the heavy shotgun in terms of weapon brutality. What’s gone are also the bouncer pad, suppressed SMG, impulse grenade, remote mines, and light-machine gun. To be honest, it’s kind of a bummer.
In addition, the new Fortnite map has now new corrupted zones like cornfields and shadow cubes. As the theme of Fortnite Season 6 is “Darkness Rising”, there’s a haunted castle in the south of Haunted Hills. The haunted castle has spooky stoner corridors, empty coffins and shadowy chambers perfect for the theme.
Fortnite Season 6: The Verdict
Overall, Fortnite Season 6 has a great range of aesthetic, architectural and tactical changes, funny new skins, and new underground areas. Obviously, Epic Games are trying to make minor changes to the tactical and give more emphasis on exploration.
As for the mythology of Fortnite Season 6, the alien visitors and bizarre experiments that were previously overlooked are now what intrigues the whole game. In conclusion, is Fortnite Season 6 worth playing? Yes, of course! Let us know what you think about Fortnite Season 6, and don’t forget to share your insights with the GamingXP community.
